Let’s imagine a venetian palace on Canal Grande, with the façade full of wonderful windows, where elegance and lightness lead us to the charm of a dreamy world: it’s the famous “Ca’ d’Oro!”
With Palazzo Ducale, Ca’ d’Oro is the most famous example of Venetian Gothic, known as “flowering”, and there you can feel the same old charm of when you could admire the golden covering, today disappeared, from which the palace took its name.
This important symbol of Venice has inspired who dedicated to another icon of our city, the Rialto’s bridge, a refined brand of perfumes.
“I can understand who is coming for the first time in Venice and is discovering the magic of a dreamy place” realized Sandro de Vanna, “because we’re feeling the same fascination even if we’re venetian”.
Sandro, is this the reason why you wanted to decorate some bottles of your perfumes with the pierced “logge” motif?
“Of course, the pure golden decoration on the bottles of Eau de Parfum Elixir Oriental Sublime is inspired by the magnificence of the two overlapping logge on the façade of Ca’ d’Oro, pierced with those woven arches that remind us the East. “That East from where the venetians imported precious essences for the old perfumists!”
The Elixir Oriental Sublime is an homage to a unique city in the world and, at the same time, a tribute to the thousand-year old perfumery art. In this fragrance the oud, a precious Indian resin, gives a strongly exotic style, but in harmony with roses and cinnamon notes, for a soft and captivating sensation. The result? Pure seduction!
“I like thinking”, Sandro says, “that the sensations inspired by my perfume can bring us back, such as in a dream, to the refined architecture of Ca’ d’Oro, which elegance I always loved”.
And, we add, from the “flowering” gothic of one of the most famous venetian palaces, to the fragrance in which the ingredients of the “flowering” called family are wisely blended with eastern suggestive notes!
