“We’re really attached to our shop, Profumeria Franco, we’re meeting a lot of people here, many of them have been customers for years. We love to meet them, to listen their needs and suggest them the most suitable fragrances for their style.”
Rosy, Lina and Natalia have been collaborating for a long time with Sandro de Vanna as customer service workers. They don’t have only to sell but, first, they have to understand the kind of customer who’s entering the shop, in order to help him with the choice of a perfume, a cosmetic, an item of toiletries.
“Sometimes the customer wants to make a present and asks us for an advice, a help to be oriented in his choice. We’re talking with him, to know who will be the present for, or what will be the event for which he wants to buy a perfume, so we can suggest him the perfect fragrance for that occasion. One of our Ponte di Rialto fragrances, for example.”
Sandro’s coworkers are really expert and they suddenly understand if a customer has an idea of what to buy or if he needs an advice; if he knows something about perfumes or if he likes to be captivated by one fragrance at the first contact and inhaling. With patience, then they explain him that he doesn’t have to be immediately captured by the top notes, but if he waits a bit and then inhales again, he will explore the middle notes; in this way he can understand if that perfume is consistent with his personality, if he can wear it only in some particular situations or if it is what he really needs for an important present.
“It takes time and a bit of patience, customers need to choose without hurry, that’s why we’re trying to make them feel relaxed by talking together. If we already know them, we have a lot of topics in common and, after all, this is part of our job too.”
The relationship with customers is essential to keep their fidelity and to make them come back again, for a refill of precious bottles of Murano glass too; or, simply, to contribute to a long lasting positive image of the shop. “We really want to leave a good memory to everyone who’s entering Franco Perfumery, even if he comes only for an information!”
Smiling, calm, and available, Rosy Lina and Natalia are greetings the customers with a sober elegance, are giving them comfort, and they’re playing at best their role of “professionists of fragrances”. So, the time spent in the comfortable spaces of Franco Perfumery will be a pleasant experience. And we hope they will take home an excellent perfume and a good memory of us, of our fragrances and, why not?, of our dear Venice!
